Help support Bryce Reid & The Royal Flying Doctor Service
As most of you will be aware our good mate Bryce Reid had a serious motorbike accident out at a property at Dirranbandi last week, which resulted in him being flown to The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and straight into major back surgery upon arrival with his back broken in two places and a break in his neck. The surgery resulted in 2 rods and 15 screws in his back, and after some doubt it thankfully was a success but Bryce does still have a long road of recovery ahead of him.
A group of his close friends have come to the decision that they would like to start this GoFund me page for Bryce as we as his close friends would love the opportunity to help out our mate but also know that Bryce is a good mate to a lot of people therefore we have made this a public page so it is available to anyone else that would like to contribute to helping Bryce throughout his recovery and to get him back on his feet and back to his old self. With that being our intention when creating this page we are aware of the major role that The Royal Flying Doctor service played in this incident, flying Bryce from Dirranbandi Hospital to The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Therefore it was decided that half of the funds raised from this page will be donated directly to The Royal Flying Doctors to support this service in continuing to save lives.
With a stint in hospital 2 hours away from his hometown of Leyburn QLD this money will go towards supporting Bryce and his family during his hospital and recovery period which will see him not able to work for several months and requiring hands on care from his family while he undertakes regular physio and doctors appointments in Brisbane and Toowoomba.
All in all we consider Bryce a very valuable mate who we are so thankful to still have around and in one piece to enjoy some more good times with us all, and we just wanted to share this opportunity with anyone else that feels they would like to contribute.
Thank you
