My name is Rheima Ibrahiim-Robinson and I run The Sunday Practise. TSP is an open mic and community hub based in Leeds. We have been running for six years on zero-funding, providing a platform to poets, musicians, theatre-makers and singer/songwriters in Yorkshire.
Given the current climate, we have been forced to adapt our services online. I would like to raise money to ensure we can continue to support and reach our artistic community. The funds will be used to help users of our service so that they can continue to create without anxiety. We will also expand our online presence so that our community can find us now that our host venue is closed.
The support will mean that our Leeds and northern-based community can continue to connect and help each other amongst the chaos of the world. The Sunday Practise is the creative home of so many outside of London and a safe space to so many more. It is important to us that we stay together.
