Support Baby Henry's Healing Journey

On October 15 Courtney and Eric Sustaita welcomed sweet baby Henry into the world at 5:07pm in Tyler weighing 6lbs 6oz and a whole 19.5 inches long. After 12 hours and some test the doctors came back and explained he needed to be life flighted from to Children's hospital in Dallas to the cardiac floor due to 2 holes in his heart. After arriving at Childrens being put on medication and numerous amounts of test 24 hours later the medical staff at childrens said they no longer seen the 2 holes in his heart he came in with!! (God is great all the time!!) However they transferred them to the NICU floor because of air inside the lining of his intestines to his liver causing them to leak. He's been IV fed thru a PICC line but is being monitored very closely and they have him on antibiotics to heal.

They are consulting with specialist to attempt to identify abnormalities present within his blood.

Their estimated discharge date is in December when they might get to bring Henry home but this is not promised. Only God can help make time go faster.

The family is reaching out in hopes that the community can help them in these hard times as Courtney and Eric are out of work to stay with their little boy. They are worried they will lose everything at home due to lack of funds to continue to pay bills while they focus on their son’s health.
