Vanesa Aguilar is a loved member of the Bowen Elementary team, and serves students with special needs in our Early Childhood Special Education classroom.

At the end of the school year, Vanesa and her family welcomed baby Harper. Very recently, baby Harper was transported to Texas Children’s in very serious condition.

Baby Harper's left side of her heart was elongated and was not able to pump blood properly throughout her body, which led her to have critical complications and resulted in open heart surgery to be put on the Berlin machine. The Berlin machine helps pump blood to her organs to stay alive until a heart transplant is available. We would greatly appreciate any and all help at this time. Your prayers are needed and greatly appreciated.
