Support Baby Bailey's Fight for Life

Hi, my name is Elena, and I’m the mom of a beautiful newborn boy named Bailey. Right now, we’re facing the hardest fight of our lives. Not long after he was born, Bailey got very sick, and doctors believe he has a rare metabolic disorder that’s preventing his body from getting rid of ammonia. High ammonia levels can be incredibly dangerous, and right now, he’s in the NICU on dialysis, fighting to get stable while we search for answers.

Watching my baby go through this has been heartbreaking. We don’t have an official diagnosis yet, but the road ahead is going to be long, and Bailey is going to need a lot of medical care—hospital stays, genetic testing, treatments, and possibly lifelong care. I want to give him the best chance at a healthy life, but the medical expenses will be overwhelming.

I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but here I am—fighting for my baby and hoping that, with the support of family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers, we can get through this.
