Help support Anne Chambers and her family as they navigate the hard road of stage 4 lung cancer.
Anne is a long-time Florida Keys local and a marvelous artist who recently won the people's choice award for her painting "The Ascent". She is a proud member of "The Art Guild of the Purple Isles" and has her artwork displayed in various local places. She is well known for her generous and kind spirit but also her feisty go-getter attitude.
At the beginning of October 2025 she was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to her brain, liver and kidney. We had hope for some treatment to help give her a bit more time and be comfortable, but unfortunately, as life sometimes happens, things took a turn for the worse. We are not sure how much time we have with her.
We covet your prayers and love during this time. If you feel led to, please help support our family with donations towards her medical and care expenses.
Thank you and God Bless!
UPDATE: Anne made it through a very critical 24 hours this past Tuesday/Wednesday. So much so that as of today 10/24/2025 they are moving Anne closer to us in Homestead at the Homestead Baptist Health Hospital Physical and Speech Therapy Center. The doctors felt she was well enough to move here and start to gain some strength and work on her speech after the strokes. She is terminal, but we are hoping to optimize her comfort, function, and her independence to give her a better quality of life for as long as possible. Please keep the prayers coming because they have been working!
THANK YOU!
UPDATE 11/4/2025: Anne was moved out of the rehab facility in Homestead into the actual hospital this past Saturday due to her hemoglobin being very low from some intestinal bleeding. She was stabilized and moved to another Nursing rehab facility in Kendall. Unfortunately, just this morning, Anne was moved to West Baptist Hospital in Kendall due to more bleeding. Please keep her in your prayers as we handle all the ups and downs. Today is Anne's birthday and we find it very tough not being able to spend more time with her with all the moving between places. We appreciate each and every person who has donated or prayed for Anne and our family.
Update: With heavy and broken hearts we have to say that we lost Anne this morning at 5:02. She has gone home to be with the Lord. We will greatly miss her. Thank you all for the prayers you have been sending our way. I ask that you pray for those of us left behind. <3
