Hello everyone,
My name is Murray Turner, and I am organising this fundraiser for my partner Anna-Rose Beltran (Anna) who is a nurse in the Philippines. Anna is just 44 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer, and it is an aggressive form of the disease, known as HER-2 positive.
She is preparing to undergo chemotherapy, I am helping with costs but, right now we seeking some help due to the high cost of chemotherapy drugs. Unlike in Australia, there is very limited support from the government to cover the cost of chemotherapy.
The chemotherapy requires upfront payment with no payment plan options, and Anna needs this treatment urgently before the disease spreads further.
Anna is one of the most kind and selfless people I know, and she is always helping other people and putting their needs before her own. She has worked her entire adult life as a Nurse, helping others. She is currently supporting her son Yunus to finish his degree in Nursing so he can have a better life.
All funds raised will go directly toward Anna's medical expenses, but primarily to fund the chemotherapy, which is by far the most expensive stage of cancer treatment. My hope is to give her the freedom to focus on full recovery, and to make sure Yunus does not lose his mum, especially as Anna’s parents have already passed.
I humbly ask for your support and of course, no donation is too small. If you’re unable to donate, we are deeply grateful for your thoughts, prayers, positive messages, and for sharing this page.
I will share updates here as Anna moves through her treatment journey and thank you for helping surround her with care, hope, and love.
Thank you,
Murray Turner
