Ann Glassey has been the heart of Horace Mann Elementary for over 30 years. In her role as school secretary, she has worked with generations of families, offered tremendous expertise, and greeted students every day with a twinkle in her eye and a knowing smile.

Last month, Ms. Glassey suffered a stroke and spent over two weeks in the hospital. She is now recovering at home, while her loved ones are focused on supporting her recovery and making her home more accessible.

The funds raised will be managed by her daughter, Megan Thomas, and will go directly toward Ms. Glassey’s medical bills, home retrofit, and any extra needs that arise as she recovers. Her family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from the Horace Mann community and beyond. Any donation or message of support is appreciated. Please no visitors at this time.
