Creative Business Needs Transportation

Amazingly Gifted & Blessed Workshop is an African American female-owned business in Newark, Delaware. AG&BW was born in 1995 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. AG&BW started as an event planning and decorating business. As the company grew and took on more clients, the need to haul more decorative fixtures such as tables, chairs, balloons, and other large decor became a part of the business model. During this time, an assistant had to be hired to help with transporting these because I only had a small vehicle.

In February 2014, the business unexpectedly had to go in a different direction due to an illness. I was unable to secure events because I was in and out of the hospital. Event Planning and decorating were my main sources of income. So, I decided to use my creativity in making bracelets, which opened Pandora's box of other crafty projects. This has allowed me to regain some income.

Under the new brand, I find myself in the same predicament. I needed a vehicle big enough to haul my products to craft events and craft fairs.

I have struggled trying to make ends meet. Yet I continue to fight the good fight. I am a kind and giving person. I am an advocate for children and women. I fight for everyone. My business has a component that donates yearly to the following organizations:

*Lupus Foundation (because I have Lupus)

*Wounded Warrior (because I have veterans in her family)

*Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

*St. Judes

*EAF: Educational Advancement Foundation

I need a cargo van. I am perfectly fine with a new or used van. The cost of new and used cargo vans is at least $25,000. I have been trying to raise the funds for almost a year.

The funds will be used to purchase a cargo van.
