Support and Love For Tracy Monniere

When Tracy, Allan, and Alison made the trip to OBX, NC for their family vacation, they had no idea the traumatic turn it would take. On day 2 of the week long vacation Tracy suffered an acute stroke. She was taken by ambulance to the local hospital, but eventually airlifted to a bigger hospital in Greenville, NC.

Tracy is currently in critical condition in the ICU. She has brain swelling that is preventing surgery from being possible at this time. Hope is that the swelling reduces enough to operate to remove a blood clot and to repair a tear in an artery.

The unexpected financial stress and burden only adds to the extreme angst of this situation. The road ahead is very long. Hope is to eventually have Tracy transported from North Carolina to her home in Vermont. In the meantime Allan, Bernie and Monique will need to take shifts being with Tracy. Medical bills, hotel stays, flights back and forth, and the eventual out of pocket cost to transport Tracy home will be financially devastating.
