Hey everybody, it's Amelia! Myself, Elyra, and our housemates Quinn and Samantha are here to ask for some assistance getting us through our January and February housing-related bills, as we're currently falling short of our needs. We're on SNAP benefits and low-income utility assistance programs, but still struggling. This is made harder due to current unemployment, mental health and disabilities (assistance with the latter of which is still pending legal process after denial).

Personally, 2025 was an extremely hard year for me. Due to an abusive workplace situation that I had to eject myself from (our home's primary income) and the crumbling state of the industry I've made my career in, I've been looking for work since July and have been unable to find a new position. I've done some short freelance since, and have been applying for positions outside of my industry to keep us afloat while I continue the search for work. Elyra has been employed full time, but does not make enough to cover all of our bills. We have new housemates arriving from across the country in March, so things will be a little bit easier for us come then... But at this point, we have utilized our savings and safety nets, which makes our options extremely limited.

I know a lot of folks are going through some intense hardship too, so if you're not in a position to donate sharing this would be appreciated - Elyra and I are not on social media much these days, so we're a bit worried about our reach. Any assistance provided will help us and our housemates cover housing payments, bills, and monthly expenses through the next couple months until our financial situation stabilizes. Anything helps!
