Support Almo Daycare's Children in Arusha

Hi! We’re Kelsey and Annie, two volunteers currently spending some of our summer in Arusha, Tanzania, working with the most incredible group of children at a local school called Almo Daycare.

Almo Daycare serves children ages 1 to 6, and while their joy and spirit are unmatched, the school itself is facing heartbreaking challenges. The children attend class in a space without electricity, clean water, a proper bathroom, or even a roof over their classroom. There are no school supplies; no books, crayons, or paper and most of the children come without food or access to a meal during the day.

We created this fundraiser because these kids deserve more. They deserve a safe place to learn, grow, and just be kids. 100% of the money raised will go directly to:

-Installing a roof and proper infrastructure to protect the classroom from rain and sun

-Providing access to a sanitary bathroom

-Supplying books, paper, pencils, crayons, and learning materials

-Creating a proper kitchen and meals to ensure no child goes hungry during the school day
