Support Allie Patten's Wrestling Journey

Hi everyone, my name is Allie Patten and I am currently a freshman in high school and member of the high school wrestling team at my school, as well as Iron Faith Wrestling Club and Team Rhode Island Wrestling. After a very successful freshmen high school season, where I placed 1st in states and 3rd in New Englands, I decided to continue to wrestle more in the off season. While high school wrestling is folkstyle, most off season wrestling is freestyle. This has required me to learn a whole different style of wrestling. Freestyle is also the style that females participate in at the collegiate and international levels.

This past month I was able to go to Atlantic City, New Jersey for the Northeast Regionals, where I qualified for the 2024 U.S. Marine Corps 16u and Junior Nationals (also known as Fargo) in Fargo, North Dakota. In order to qualify for this event, I was required to place top 6 at the Northeast Regionals, which I was able to do.

Fargo is the largest and most prestigious event in the country. The competition at Fargo is great and has the highest attendance for female wrestlers of any tournament in the country. My parents have said they will support me with the resources I need to be successful, but I wanted to try and raise some money to help them. It is a huge expense to get to North Dakota and it was unexpected. If you are able to donate, I would greatly appreciate it, as every little bit helps.
