A few days ago, my family received news that completely shocked us—my mom, Adrianna Willis, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She is currently in the hospital as doctors prepare her for the next steps in treatment and chemotherapy. This diagnosis has turned our world upside down, and it’s hard to put into words just how much my mom means to us. She is loved more than words can express, and seeing her face this challenge is heartbreaking.

If you know my mom, you know she is always extending herself for others. Two years ago, after nearly burning out, she made the difficult decision to leave her job and focus on her health. She poured her heart into building Mind the Crown, a wellness brand dedicated to helping women protect their peace, prioritize self-care, and honor their health. Now, she is facing a health battle of her own.

My mom has always been the one to nurse our family back to health, caring for us through every illness and challenge. Now, it’s her turn to be nursed and not have the worry or strain of money. As a small business owner, my mom runs Mind the Crown on her own. Her income comes from speaking engagements, events, and selling products through her wellness store. During chemotherapy and treatment, many of those things will slow down while she focuses on healing.
