Most of you know Adonis as the one who can walk into the room smiling and make everyone feel loved. Back in 2021, Adonis almost lost his life to gun violence, but his will to live and God helped him recover and continue with life. On July 13, 2025, Adonis almost lost his life again to a car accident. The paramedics said they lost him 3 times on the way to the hospital, but once again, his will to live and God kept him with us. He has sustained injuries that have left him paralyzed with limited mobility. Also, he sustained a traumatic brain injury that has affected some of his cognitive skills. Adonis has been working hard physically and mentally to regain what his new life will look like; it is always changing and evolving. This 6-month journey has taken a toll on us mentally, physically, and financially. There are medical expenses now and in the ongoing future that we will have to cover. I have been by his side this entire journey and feeling the financial stress. It is really hard when you have to decide to care for your child or work to pay living expenses. We will finally be leaving the hospital, and we will continue rehabilitation in an outpatient setting. I am asking for any donation you can give to help cover medical and living expenses.
