Support for Adonis Ramirez and His Family

We are raising funds for my brother-in-law, Adonis Ramirez, the loving husband of my sister, Manasesli, who is currently fighting for his life. Adonis went in for a medical procedure related to a severe mold infection in his nasal area that had spread to his brain and required a second surgery. During anesthesia, his heart could not tolerate the medication and stopped for approximately 40 minutes.

By God’s grace and the tireless work of the doctors, Adonis was revived, but the lack of oxygen caused significant trauma to his body. Several of his organs were severely damaged, including his stomach, and he now requires immediate and additional emergency procedures. He remains in critical condition in intensive care.

Adonis is expected to be hospitalized for several months and is currently unable to work. During this time, my sister is facing the overwhelming burden of medical uncertainty while also needing to cover everyday living expenses such as rent, food, utilities, and care for their five beloved pets.

This is an incredibly difficult and unexpected season for our family. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward helping relieve the financial strain so my sister can focus on being by Adonis’s side during his recovery.
