- This is Abbey. She is our sweet baby girl. My name is DeeDee and my Husband Is Jim. Abbey is a such a sweet girl, she is so loving and friendly. She is a certified Therapy Dog and has touched the lives of so many people, volunteering at hospitals an nursing homes, colleges and schools she also does her work at LV Int Airport where everybody just loves her. She loves
- walking over at Moravian College, she has seen so many students graduate and loves meeting the new students every year. My husband and I have had dogs our whole life and have been doing Therapy work with our dogs for almost 25 yrs and Abbey has one of the biggest hearts we have ever seen and loves doing Therapy work.
- She loves people. If you have ever met her you would understand, it's truly amazing what she does. Last night on our walk she was playing, and being her playful self she slipped on the wet grass, we didn't know it at the time but her stomach flipped and within a hour we were rushing her to the ER. The doctors and staff were amazing. They did emergency surgery on Abbey and saved her life. She has long recovery ahead of her. If you ever loved a pet then you realize they are family. Dogs have been our family... our kids for over 36 years. Her surgery was very expensive and her medication is not cheep either, but she has touched the lives and helped so many people in the hospitals and nursing homes she visits that we could not ..will not
- give up on her. Her surgery is just shy of 12 thousand dollars and because of her size her medication will put it over that. We thought we would never have to ask and could never expect to raise this kind of money. Abbey will be back and if you ever need a hug, the love of a Dog does amazing things and she will be there to help.
