Support a Slum: let’s turn tents into homes together!

You think about buying another winter jacket because you don’t like the colour from the one last year.

For only 3$ we can get a jacket for a person who doesn’t even have one jacket from last year. A human who is not able to heat up the house if it’s getting cold. A human who doesn’t even have a house. In a slum people live in tents.

We are Hannah and Anna from Germany. Two students who just finished highschool. Right now we are traveling in India. When we were in the city named Varanasi, we met Claudia from Germany. Every year she comes to India to support a slum close to Varanasi. She showed us how bad the living conditions are. However, the people living in there are very heartwarming. Claudia told us how fulfilling it is to support them. They are extremely thankful! We don’t give them money, we talk to the slum supervisor and he tells us what the people need. That can be jackets, blankets or food.
