As many of us have heard, on October 10th, two police officers were shot. One of the officers, Officer Hector Rodriguez, a 33-year-old father of five, was shot 12 times. He is currently in the hospital fighting for his life and undergoing numerous surgeries.

We are tremendously grateful for all the support and donations given while we kept his identification quiet during the initial sharing of this Gofundme.

His wife is spending much of her time at the hospital by his side while their five children are staying with family. During this time, we want to come alongside this family and help relieve some of the financial and practical burdens that come with an unexpected crisis.

Our hope is to give this family some breathing room during a time when they should not have to worry about the everyday financial burdens that come with a crisis like this.
