Anyone that knows me knows that I’m a very generous and giving person. Whether it is donating to causes, sharing pizza or tacos with the homeless, giving generous tips to service workers or musicians, or just trying to be there for someone that needs me or my help. I thrive on “do unto others” and “reap what you sow”, but this isn’t about me. This is for Maria. Someone who just wants to go to the beach and spend a little more time with her beloved grandson.

I created this GoFundMe for someone who desperately needs it. I have never done one before but felt that I needed to get involved as much as she probably doesn’t want me to and is way too stubborn and prideful to ask herself. She is the most unselfish person you will ever meet. For years, week in and week out, I’ve promoted other people and other people’s establishments because I enjoy it. I love to see others succeed or be happy and love to spread that joy through pictures and videos. I have never asked for anything in return. Ever. Not once.

Today I am asking for help for someone who needs it. Someone that for the last 25 years has always been there for me when I needed her to be or anyone else for that matter. I never had to ask. Not necessarily always monetarily but just showing her huge heart and open mind. Someone that I feel matched my generosity when it comes to her fellow humans. This is my way of repaying her for her generosity towards me and others over all the years and hope she can make a recovery mentally, physically and financially from this medical condition that seems to never go away.

Being laid up in a hospital for two months has put a huge financial strain on her and her will to still be here with us. The bills keep coming as do the health struggles, day in and day out. All I want for her is to have peace of mind that no matter how hard the struggle is, I have her back. But I can’t do it alone. This is where you come in.
