Hello everyone.

My name is Nada Al-Aqra, I am 33 years old, and I live in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip. Since October 7, 2023, our lives have been turned upside down. My family of 13 lives under one roof, and we cherish the love and strength that comes from being together. But now I have lost three of my loved ones in this war, victims of the violence that continues to claim so many lives here. There are no words to describe the pain we feel when we see our loved ones. It is a moment of profound grief that plunges the family into the depths of loss. We spend our days trying to secure food, clean water, and basic necessities. We live with the constant drone of aircraft in the sky. We have almost nothing left after losing my three sisters who used to leave the house every day to get our food, our source of income. My father is now an elderly man who cannot work under these circumstances. Therefore, I launched this fundraising campaign so that we can obtain enough to pay the rent and buy food for my family, otherwise we will be homeless. I also want to stay strong for the sake of the children and those who haven't yet arrived, but it's getting harder every day. That's why I'm reaching out to you. I never imagined I'd have to ask strangers for help, but I'm doing all this for the children, my family, and my elderly father. Because I have no other choice, your support gives my family warmth, security, and food. It might give us some dignity amidst all these losses.
