Super Story for Self Publishing

I Am Me is a book that addresses the ideal that we are all created to be just exactly as we are. The content is heartfelt and honest and acts as a mantra of sorts for anyone and everyone, but especially for individuals who are “different” in society’s eyes. Children, parents, friends, and families need not be afraid of the unknown or the different because we are all wonderful, amazing, and created as who we were meant to be. Figuring out our place in the world is hard for everyone and while we all work to wade through each moment we’re given, we all have one thing in common: we're here and we're super. 

I have a son with Down syndrome and this book is being developed based on the love and joy I gain from him each and every day.

I am seeking funding to help cover the costs of hiring an illustrator, as well as the type-setting and print costs needed to turn my manuscript into a published board book. I intend to sell the book locally and online and I am committing to donating $3.21 (for Trisomy 21 Down syndrome) of every book sold.
