Sunday Soul Pop-Up DC
Created by the Chief Change Maker of Black Celebrity Giving BCG , Jasmine Crowe, in 2013. The idea for Sunday Soul ATL was to provide men, women and children experiencing homelessness with a hot, home-cooked buffet style meal complete with amazing volunteers and classic old school music. A little over two years later, BCG introduced the Sunday Soul Pop-Up Restaurant, with a goal to provide a 5-course meal, restaurant style complete with tables, chairs, linens, fresh flowers and of course servers on the streets in known homeless communities across the country.
In what kicked off in Atlanta, this event will now bless those experiencing homelessness in the city of Washington, DC! BCG has joined forces with friends Raheem DeVaughn, the Love Life Foundation, Andrew Roby Events and Tony Lewis, Jr. to host this pop-up experience for those experiencing homelessness in the city of Washington, DC.
Beyond just food and a wonderful dining experience, we also will provide care packages, haircuts, blanketss and mental health counseling.
The Goal is Simple... Provide 200 Men, Women and Children with a 5 Course and 5 Star Meal, live dinner show and a time they will never forget!
