Summer Outreach and Fundraiser for Andrew's Mission

Hello August! Trusting all my Canadian friends had a great Civic Holiday long weekend.

Here is a quick update from Andrew’s Mission…

I wanted to share a quick “God moment” with you all that happened recently. Two weeks ago I was scheduled to preach at a church in the Ottawa Valley. Days before that Sunday I found out that my aunt was also preaching at another church in the Valley. I texted her and told her that I would be praying for her and looked forward to hearing the recording on YouTube. A few days later, I was driving down to Toronto and listened to the recording. We preached on the same topic and referenced the exact same passage…how cool is that?!

Please pray for me as I am scheduled to preach on August 17th again.

Community Highlight:

On July 16th, I got a call from a partnering ministry that was needing assistance to locate an individual. We were able to not only find this individual in Renfrew County, but were able to provide $200 to assist with groceries, gift cards, and hygiene supplies as they newly relocate to the region. We were also able to provide resources to this individual and encourage them as they begin a new chapter in their lives!

Please continue to pray for those who we interact with, come into contact with, and also build relationships within the community.

Once again this year, Andrew’s Mission is partnering with Laurel Jones (Southwestern Ontario Youth For Christ). Laurel and I met through Cobden Pentecostal Church many years ago. As she began to network and build her ministry platform, I did some donor relations and fundraising coaching with her. I plan on meeting with her this upcoming weekend to have a ministry meeting.
