Suicide Awareness Motorcycle Restoration

My name is Joseph Rougier. On 08/04/2023 I lost my son to suicide. My son's name was Michael Rougier he was 22 years old. My wife Erin and I are trying to raise funds to restore a 2006 Harley Davidson Street Bob and make it a suicide awareness theme motorcycle as a tribute to our son and also raise awareness of suicide and the damage it causes. The motorcycle is going to be blue and purple and have the suicide hotline phone numbers integrated into the bike. We are also going to have "You are not alone" and "There is always an alternative" in white letters on the sides of the fuel tank. We also plan to bring the motorcycle to bike shows and car shows as well as attending anything we can that is for suicide awareness. We also plan on setting up a table at events and handout information on suicide awareness. This is a very special cause for my wife and I.

Michael was an awesome young man. He never got into any trouble, he was a hard worker, he had plans for the future. Anyone who met Michael liked him. He would help anyone out. Michael was not only my son, but he was also my best friend.

All funds raised will be used towards the restoration of our suicide awareness motorcycle. Any funds leftover after the restoration will be donated to suicide prevention.
