We are seven students from Macquarie university looking for funding for our short film. A little background on the film, 'Sherri's Cherry Pie is a psychological thriller/comedy about a 60's cooking show 'Sherri's Home' and its cheerful cooking show host, Sherri, who crumbles under industry pressure and abuse. As she bakes a cherry pie, her carefully curated persona begins to unravel, until her executive producer becomes an unexpected ingredient in the recipe. We are all very excited about this project, and although we are lucky enough to use camera and sound resources our university, we are looking to provide catering to our actors as well as funding to purchase the set elements and costumes we need. We would love any support that can be provided, and would love to share the final film once it has been completed!
