Help two WashU students pay Student Conduct fines
Donativo protegido
Towards the end of last semester SU treasury approved $11,000 for College Republicans to bring a transphobic speaker to campus. In response, members of our community put up a memorial for trans lives and left messages of support throughout the underpass. Despite the display making many trans students on campus feel supported, the university could see nothing but “vandalism” and had it all power washed away as quickly as they could.
Now, the Office of Student Conduct has singled out two Black and Queer students to punish with a $2,500 fine. Although these students shouldn’t have been punished in the first place, they now need your help in order to pay the fine and avoid further punitive actions.
Please take a moment to support Black, Queer, and Trans students on this hostile campus by contributing what you can. (Looking at wealthy students especially!)
