Strength for Karen

On February 25th, my mother Karen experienced a severe life-changing stroke that has left one side of her body paralyzed. After major brain surgery and a month of recovery at Johns Hopkins, my mother has been transferred to Kernan to complete her rehabilitation. Her spirits are high and she is determined to regain strength!

On top of her medical bills, she will be in need of household modifications such as chair lifts and an electric wheel chair. As most of you know, my mother lives to bring smiles and lend a helping hand when ever she can. Now it's our turn to help her!
