Strength for Sawyer

Strength for Sawyer is a page set up to share updates on 4-year old Sawyer Ayers as she battles stage IV cancer. Sawyer has recently completed week 35 of chemo and only has one week left, but the journey does not stop there. After completion of chemo the road to recover and remission will still be a long one, with continued medical bills and clinic visits keeping Mom out of work. While many places, such as convenient stores are continuing to take up donations, it has been asked by many of you that a GoFundMe be set up to take donations along with the family’s PayPal account. 

Unfortunately, over the past few days Sawyer has developed pneumonia and has ended up in the PICU at Children’s hospital in Knoxville. If she wasn’t considered a sick little girl before, she certainly is one now. This is not only an incredible hurdle for her to overcome, but will also delay her progress with chemo and recovery.
