Street Family Mombasa

Hello, My name is Goki. I am one of the ambassador of Face of Kenya movement. I hope this cause finds you well. Mombasa is a tourist hot spot but what people don't know is that in the back streets of our gorgeous island is that there are over 400 families that live on the streets of MSA, most of them consist of mothers and their children. A few friends and I decided to visit them and it was beyond what we were expecting, the families living in shift made homes on the streets, most of them are sadly addicted to drugs including very young kids and expectant mothers.

I posted on social media my interactions with the children and the street families, I shared photos and short videos of my trip in Mombasa, an island in Kenya. I was so overwhelmed by the amount of people that reached out asking how and where they can help. A lot of the people have lots of great ideas and i am looking forward to execute those ideas so we can offer them a better life and get the children off the streets. Face of Kenya is allowing me to do this all over again in 2023 and get more families off the street

My friends and family members to donate clothes and what ever they could to help assist them, the response was amazing!! How ever our efforts were not enough. Now I'm back in the uk Im reaching out to every one to help me help them, we can help them together.

We got 12 families off the streets and sent 5 kids to school, I couldn't have possibly done this with out your help.

£10 is equivalent to 1000ksh right now you wouldn't believe how much can be done with just a pound! The children of the street families need us and could desperately use our help.

What do the children's home need?

They need food!

They need sanitation and nutrient dense food(of which they have the land to grow the food but they aren't experienced enough)

They need sponsors to send some of the children to school. it only costs 75 pounds to send a single child to school for a whole term (3 months )

what do the street families need?

They need clothes.

They need someone that will help them with their addiction

They need food and water, they were really begging for food which broke my heart so much.

They need to be rehabilitated

They need a real home

The expecting mothers need clothes for their new borns

They need shelter

They need beds and beddings

They need sanitation products

They need a clean shower

They need their kids to go to school an get off the streets

They need school uniforms and stationary

They need stability

They need our help

I want to help the children and the street families as much as I can, and to do so I'll need your help, essentially we are helping two different movements.

ALL Your Loving donations go directly to improving the lives of the kids and the families affected. These people are brave survivors of very unfair circumstances and if you are reading this then you and I have the ability to help bring a change in their lives. I will give you guys constant updates of what we are doing and how far we've gotten.
