Storm Dennis destroyed family home

Early Sunday morning Rebecca Chadwick and son Sam woke to the nightmare that the house under them was filled with water and rising. The banks of the river had burst and all the street was underwater. Rebecca raised the alarm and screamed for the other neighbours. After a long and dangerous resuce, Sam and Rebecca were left with shattered memories and a destroyed home. The following Monday they would find that the insurance companies designed to help would refuse them help.
