Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease

Hi, my name is Abby, I am an intern with the Whale Shark Oceanic Research Center (WSORC). We are treating several sites around the island of Utila, Honduras, for Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease (SCTLD), which requires much time and resources. This disease is rapidly spreading across the Caribbean and decimating our coral reefs, which, as we all know, are an essential resource for this island and many others worldwide. If we had donations coming in, we could treat more corals and hopefully slow the spread of this awful disease that is disrupting our lives here in the Caribbean.
