I urgently need your help so I can have a surgery and be free from chronic pain.

I was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease , which is an inherited nerve disease. As it has progressed, the chronic pain from it has worsened. I was put on opiate painkillers for 6 years and they almost claimed my life, but I've been free from the pills for over a year now.

In April, I had a surgery to test the effectiveness of a spinal cord stimulator device. It worked, and I was free from the brutal pain in my feet and lower legs. But, as it was just a temporary test, it was removed after a few weeks. Now I'm ready to have the permanant surgery where wires will be placed next to my spinal column and a battery will be implanted.

This is where you come in. With your help, I will be able to have the surgery in August and live a chronic-pain-free life.

The money raised will be used for the following:

1 - For my expensive co-payment at the hospital
2 - To help cover my bills while I am recovering from surgery
