Step Up for Stephanie!

This past Labor Day weekend, Stephanie Chavez had a headache so severe that she told her mother, Liz Chavez, she could no longer stand the pain. Three days later, tests revealed she had a tumor in her brain about the size of a grape and was diagnosed with a meningioma .

She then went through two surgeries: six hours to cauterize the blood vessels going to the tumor, followed by 13 hours of major surgery to remove the tumor, which turned out to be the size of a golf ball.

Fortunately, Stephanie is a strong woman, and has kept a positive attitude throughout this ordeal. While she is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery, the surgeries, 16 days in the hospital, and continuing medical care have resulted in major expenses for her and Liz, despite having medical insurance.

Stephanie and Liz are always the first to step up, go the extra mile, and provide love and support for others when they need it. Now it's our turn to help them in this time of need.

Please give any amount you can to help pay down their medical costs.  Please keep them in your prayers as well.
