New MS Treatment for Lindsay
Donation protected
I was diagnosed with MS in 2003. After having my second child in 2008, I fell down the stairs carrying him and have progressively gotten worse physically. I have tried all of the different conventional treatments that are offered to MS patients, and am currently undergoing chemo. For the last year, I have been unable to walk without the help of a walker, which makes it near impossible to keep up with my two kids (11 and 8), at their sporting and school events. As a recent single parent, my daily activities have become increasingly difficult to maintain.
In search of a better way of life, I have found a new treatment with Stem Cell International (stemcellinternational.org). With their help, I have high hopes of not only walking unassisted again, but also being the mom I was meant to be to my children.
As soon as I have raised the funds, the center will be able to get me in immediately to start treatments.
Without treatment, I will end up in a wheelchair and unable to provide a life my children deserve.
