Help revive the STATE marquee
Donation protected
The State Theatre is Logansport's only surviving historic theatre (one of four that once entertained crowds downtown). The iconic STATE marquee was removed when it was recently converted to a stage theatre. We want to restore the letters to the front of the building, but the original plastic, aluminum, and neon (which, oddly enough, was actually saved, purchased, and stored away by the current owner more than a year before he purchased the theatre) is badly worn and fragile. Our best course of action is to replace the letters with exact, modern replicas, while preserving the original letters for eventual interior display. Help us with our ongoing efforts to restore the theatre with a contribution to the “Help revive the STATE marquee” fund!
