We are seeking support for my 10-year-old son, Elias, who has Williams syndrome and has courageously faced complex medical challenges throughout his life. Among his many conditions are significant vascular stenosis, including renal artery stenosis, which may require a high-risk kidney reconstruction procedure.

After extensive care and multiple consultations, we are now traveling to obtain a third medical opinion to ensure that every possible option is thoroughly explored before moving forward with such a serious and life-altering decision. Elias will undergo specialized evaluations during this visit, and we expect to be away for approximately one week.

As a single mother, I am solely responsible for Elias’s care and support. During this time, I will be covering all travel, lodging, and food expenses, while also being out of work without pay. Over the past months, I have already missed significant time from work due to ongoing medical appointments and caring for my children and family, making this added financial burden especially challenging.

This journey has been emotionally, physically, and financially overwhelming. Despite the uncertainty and fear that comes with such complex medical decisions, my focus remains unwavering: advocating for Elias and ensuring he receives the safest and best care possible.
