We wanted to do something special for our friend James Robinson, one of the kindest and hardest-working people you’ll ever meet. Two years ago, James was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer. He fought with everything he had—and he beat it.

Sadly, the cancer has returned this year, and it’s much more aggressive. The first rounds of chemotherapy were not successful, and he’s been in and out of the hospital due to severe swelling that makes it difficult for him to breathe. Now, James is beginning another round of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in hopes of reducing the cancer enough for surgery.

Because this journey has placed a heavy financial burden on James and Melissa, we’re coming together to help lighten the load—covering their mortgage, household bills, medical expenses, and anything else that might ease the stress during this time. This support will allow them to focus fully on what truly matters: James’s health and recovery.

Our hope is to quietly collect donations over the next two weeks and then surprise James with one check from everyone. James is incredibly hardworking and never asks for help—this is something he would never request for himself. But we see what he’s up against, and we want to show him the strength of the community surrounding him and Melissa. Their village is here, and we’ll stand with them through this.

This setback has been incredibly difficult, yet James continues to stay positive and move forward every day as if nothing can stop him. His strength is truly inspiring.
