Stand with Becki in Her Custody Battle

Hi, my name is Oleta, and I am fundraising for Becki Maurer (Becki Wilkinson).

Becki has been like a sister to me for many years and I have been family to the Wilkinsons since middle school. She has always been an incredible mother, dedicating herself to her three daughters through countless activities like volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, and sewing classes. Becki's love and support for her girls have always been unwavering, and she never hesitated to sacrifice her own needs for their happiness. If you visited, you would regularly find the "screen time down" box because quality time with her children and family was an important factor in their everyday lives, something the girls thoroughly enjoyed as well. Trips for ice cream, fun time in the pool, and conversations at the dinner table about how their day was and what was going on in their personal lives. The girls knew they could always be open and honest. The relationship they had was unbreakable.

However, Becki has faced ongoing legal battles over custody, striving to maintain a neutral stance and prioritize the best interests of her daughters. About a year ago, in an effort to handle a delicate situation, she supported the girls decision to stay at their father’s temporarily while she addressed some family matters. What began as a temporary arrangement quickly turned into a full custody battle, with the father refusing to cooperate and even turning the girls against Becki.

Becki has incurred thousands of dollars in legal fees, maxed out credit cards, and depleted her savings. She has a court order for the girls to attend reunification therapy, but their father has refused to comply. Becki's lawyer now requires an additional $10,000 retainer to address this issue, which Becki cannot afford.

Throughout her life, Becki has always been there to help others, constantly asking, "What do you need?" Now, it's our turn to support her. We aim to raise $15,000 to cover the current retainer fee and help pay off some of the previous year's legal debts.
