My name is Ahmed Mater, and I am 27 years old. Because of the ongoing war in Gaza, I feel the need to share my story and that of my family. We have been forced to leave our home more than five times during this war, living in extremely difficult conditions. My sisters, Eman Matar and Amna Matar, my mother, Taghreed Matar, and I are currently staying in a tent in Khan Yunis, where we have almost no protection from the weather. We suffer from both the burning heat during the day and the bitter cold at night..

We are asking for help because we need support to rebuild our lives. The funds collected will be used to find a safe place to live after the war, buy clothes, and cover travel costs to reach a secure shelter outside of Gaza.
