In September of 2016, Stevie was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. He began a treatment course that included chemotherapy 3 days/week for 6 weeks as well as radiation for 5 days/week for 7 weeks.  During this time, he was in and out of the hospital for blood transfusions and electrolyte imbalances.  He takes 24 different medications! This illness has really taken its toll on Steve and his very loving wife, Debbie. They live simply, but continue to struggle to pay their bills, and for gas to get them back and forth to appointments, pharmacies, and testing.  It is important for Steve to eat healthy (in order to heal) but it is just too expensive for them to buy the quality foods that he needs.  If you could donate any amout to these wonderful people that are in a really tough spot right now, it would be greatly appreciated.  Anything helps! Stevie is currently waiting on bone scan results to see if he still has cancer.  If so, he will need to undergo more chemotherapy, which comes with more bills and co-pays.  They helped me through so much in my time of need, that it pains me to see them in this situation.  I know it is tough for them to reach out for help, but they are surely struggling. If nothing else, please keep them in your daily prayers.  We are hoping for a miracle.
