Hi there, My name is Sidney Tovar and I am Teresa Tovar's younger daughter. On February 12th 2025, Our mom was admitted to Mercy Hospital with respiratory distress and brain swelling after contracting the flu. Since then, she has been tested for many viruses that have all come negative, and has started a temporary dialysis due to liver & kidney problems. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit and will be there indefinitely. My older sister Adriana, Nana, and our family have had to drop everything and be with our mom during this time. We have started our GoFundMe to support what Medicare will not pay for and helping take care of the kids in the family, us, and our Nana. This includes travel costs, daycare help, and feeding our family.

We pray that she makes a full recovery within the next few weeks, and the lord will protect her through this time. Anything truly helps, Thank you so much.
