Stand by Adam Toliver and His Recovery

Adam Toliver is a devoted and beloved father, a son, a brother and a friend. He has four intelligent, talented and beautiful daughters, and is also engaged to his loving partner, Nichole Whirrell. He cherishes the time he spends teaching his girls how to navigate the world and handle practical tasks with confidence. He is an avid hunter and loves to tinker with cars, especially his Mitsubishi's, motorcycles, 4-wheelers and just about anything with wheels. His family is recently settling into a new home, brimming with opportunities to create cherished memories.

Adam's passion for outdoor adventures takes him and his family camping, kayaking, mushroom hunting, and off-road adventures on their four-wheelers. He works as a highly esteemed electrician at Trapp Electric.

Recently, an accident occurred when Adam was attempting to trim trees at their new home. In a very unfortunate turn of events, Adam was tragically injured. A branch broke off a tree he was trimming and fell on him, fracturing parts of his cervical spine. His family was there to witness the accident and did everything they could to support him in the heat of the moment. The following day, he had to undergo surgery that will lead to a long and hard road to recovery. Despite the challenges ahead, Adam remains determined to bounce back and get back to his usual outdoor activities and work.

Update: 2/6/2025 - Adam has been moved from Neuro ICU to general patient floor in anticipation of being transfered to rehabilitation/therapy facility.

Update #2: 2/7/2025 - Adam has been moved to Shirley Ryan Ability Center in Chicago, Illinois, to begin his recovery journey.
