St Agnes Gokwe Children’s Home Fire Damage

This is St Agnes Gokwe Children's Home in Zimbabwe. It is home to over 60 children aged from one day old to fourteen. Last month it suffered a catastrophic fire and one building lost its roof and windows with extensive damage to the walls. Fortunately no one was hurt but as well as damage to the building they have lost clothes, bedding, toys and school supplies.

We would like to support them by raising money to help fund their repairs and replace lost supplies. The work is urgent before the rains come.

My Zimbabwean friends Dorothea and Jacob will arrange for the money to be transferred to St Agnes. Dorothea's parents, Reverend Canon Lazarus Muyambi and Mrs Irene Neddie Muyambi founded the orphanage in 1980.
