Don protégé
We are raising funds in order to purchase a wheelchair lift for a mini van for an AWESOME family who goes out of their way to do anything and everything for so many yet never asks for anything in return!
Gene and Diane started their family over 19 years ago. Their 1st born, Geanna, was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy (MD) - (Limbs Girdle) at the age of 14. Their 3rd born, Nathon (Nate), was diagnosed with the same as Geanna, but at the age of 5. Their 2nd born, Ha'Ane, and 4th born, Ashley, are healthy and do a tremendous part to help with their siblings.
While Geanna is mobile, she still struggles to get around (at times with the help of her scooter) and cannot go up/down stairs at all.
Nate, on the other hand, is completely wheelchair bound.
Because of this, These two are often stuck in the house as it is quite a lot of work to pick them up and lift them into the van, then back out, and so on and so forth.
MD has taken a toll on the entire family, yet you NEVER hear them complain! And they NEVER stop giving and doing for others and NEVER ask for anything in return!!
Gene and Diane are blessed with good jobs, beautiful, smart children, and a very supportive family!
If it's the least that we can do, to contribute in any way possible to make their FAMILY outtings easier, let's chip in and repay them back for all that they do for friends, family, and the community!!!!
It doesn't matter if it's only one dollar or one million. It all helps and we know it all comes from your heart!!
It's easy for anyone to see, when you first meet them, how they may start off as just friends, but they end up being family!!
