Sponsor Roman for the Gothia Cup!

Roman has a dream to one day play football (soccer) professionally in Europe. He has been committed to recreation teams, travel, one-on-one training and any and every pickup game. He practices in insane heat and snowstorms... soccer is food for his soul. It is truly his passion.

Roman was approached by Iconz Elite to be considered for their youth organization. He was interviewed and vetted (via video tryout) by Lawrie Dudfield. We learned this week that he was selected (and earned) the last spot as their striker representing the 2010 boys in the largest youth tournament in the world... the 2024 Gothia Cup. The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament. Each year, around 1700 teams from 80 nations take part and they play 4500 games on 110 pitches.

As parents, we are going to do everything in our power to make this once in a lifetime opportunity happen for Roman. It involves a week of training in Florida in June with his elite team and six current & former EPL players, coaches and managers, including Roy Carroll, Simon Rusk, Richard Thomas, Micky Adams, Mike Edwards and Shaun Derry.

He will then travel to Gothenburg, Sweden in July to represent the U.S. in the Gothia Cup, organized by professional football club BK Häcken since 1975.

There is no obligation to sponsor Roman, however if you would like to be part of his experience and contribute to his travel, we would be incredibly grateful. When Roman is a famous European footballer he promises to pay everyone back with interest.
