Spirit Needs Heart Surgery

Spirit needs heart surgery at MSU. LuvnPupz received a call this morning about a 13 week old lab puppy in need of urgent medical help. She came to the vet with a swollen face, which ended up being pulmonary edema. She has a genetic defect in her heart, Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) which requires a cardiologist and surgery at MSU. Please help us help her. She didn't ask to be born and certainly doesn't deserve to die if we can help her. Her estimated costs just for the surgery ($6,000) will far exceed what we can afford, but we will not turn our back on her. We've named her Spirit as that is what she has, Spirit... We live by ohanas rule, Ohana means family and family means... Nobody left behind, nobody forgotten. We cannot turn our backs on this precious soul, please help!!!! We will need to pay half the estimated costs upon arrival and pay in full before she leaves. Time is of the essence.
