Sox Get His Surgery

Hi, my name is Sophia Long. This morning, my one-year-old puppy went outside like he usually does, but went into the road because he smelled a dead deer, he tragically was hit by a truck and is now suffering life-threatening injuries in the hospital. His lungs are in great danger, as he just had a balloon pump put in, and he may lose his paw, my family and I really need help to pay for his treatment as we don’t have enough to cover it. The veterinarian office won’t start the surgery unless we put the deposit down, and he needs this surgery to save his life. Please donate, any amount will help. Sox isn’t even two years old and needs help to make it through this accident.

SOX UPDATE : He’s doing better today! He had chest tubes put in to help his breathing. Hopefully they can take out the oxygen tube tomorrow, but the chest tubes will be in for another 72 hours they said. He is still collecting air in his chest so his lung hasn’t scabbed over yet. They debreeded his paw as best as they could and are waiting for his breathing to get under control before fixing his foot. Unfortunately we still can’t see him, but the vet sent us a photo ❤️ we miss him terribly, but are so blessed he’s still alive ❤️
