Sophie Berman’s Breast Cancer Battle

Our sweet Sophie was recently diagnosed with ERPR+ HER2+ breast cancer. As you can imagine, this came as a total shock being that Sophie is only 31 with a whole life ahead of her. Although this is not how she anticipated her new year to begin, she has no choice but to fight this disease. Unfortunately, along with the cancer diagnosis comes a major financial burden. Chemotherapy, fertility preservation treatment, additional surgeries, etc. Insurance does not come close to covering it all. If you know Sophie, you know how great of a person she is. She is kind, smart, funny, loyal, and authentic. She loves her family, her friends, her cat Victoria and Seinfeld. She is SO much fun to be around and she is usually the most stylish person in the room (as you may know if you’ve visited Lori’s Shoes in Lincoln Park over the past 7 years). She is the best friend to have by your side whenever you need her and it’s time we come together to be by hers.
