Sophia’s Fund in Memory of John & Beverly Kuzora

On Thursday, January 6th, the world lost a brilliant mind and an even better person, John Kuzora. John was my fellow classmate at Campbell Law School, but even better, he was my friend.

John wasn’t the type of law student that was going to school to make big money. John was the type that was going to school to learn and to make a difference. He was hoping to secure a job as a public defender or an appellate defender—character and morals meant way more to him than money did.

Along with being an academic, John was also a family man. So, it made it even more special to him that his beautiful daughter, Sophia, also had an affinity for education. I know that John would want Sophia to have the best education possible. Any contributions, no matter the size, would have meant the world to him.

Life is fragile—I hope we can all keep a piece of John with us and carry his name on by doing more for others.
